BINGEWORTHY LIVE
Writing Retreat
With Laura Belgray
Coming March 2027
Make your writing so good, we’d snort it
Bingeworthy Live is a 2-day, in-person workshop for you writers, creators, and business owners who want your writing to pop off the page —
and get forever hooked on doing it.
"The best investment I've made for upleveling my writing for all purposes."
It was incredible to be in-person, in NYC, with Laura and meet so many amazing people from all over the globe. I made new friends, ate amazing food, and loved being able to show up as myself. Laura creates such a warm, welcoming space where I felt valued, encouraged, and celebrated. Writing with Laura's prompts and guidance brought ideas I'd never thought of to the page. Now I can't stop thinking about how I can turn every small moment into a story for my audience or a scene in my novel. Bingeworthy Live was the best investment I've made for upleveling my writing for all purposes.

It's the writing party of the year...
Where your real voice comes through and your wait, did I write that? genius hits.
No more wishing you wrote like so-and-so.
No more shutting up the part of you with your best ideas.
No more stalling because you’re worried it won’t all fit together (I’ve got you).
Time to let out the fearless writing that grabs us by the meatballs, that’s unmistakably you, that says B********tch, CHATGPT COULD NEVER.
Come tap into your unique style, gripping details, and emotional notes that make writing addictive — both to read and to put on the page. You’ll write your hiney off, get to share your work out loud, and walk out with new writer friends and a locked-in creative habit.
And yes, we’ll talk words that sell, AKA copy. Because when you can write that with soul and personality, you’re getting paid to be you.
What could be better?
"If you've felt blocked or bored (or both), you've got to get to Bingeworthy Live."
It's a catalyst for writing, a metabolic boost to every creative and business effort you make all year. If you've felt blocked or bored (or both), you've got to get to Bingeworthy Live.
- Terri Trespicio
"A space where I could expand my craft and figure myself out."
Bingeworthy Live was like Laura herself; classy, hilarious, authentic and awesome! The authentic human connection and creative energy was wonderful. Felt like a space I could expand my craft and figure myself out. A warm and welcoming, non-judgmental environment to grow. Loved every moment!

"Such a fun, delicious two days, and I happen to be a better writer on the other side of it!"
It’s not what you expect from a writing retreat; (and like most of Laura’s offerings) it’s better. Such a fun, delicious two days, and I happen to be a better writer on the other side of it!
- Jane Carter
Why come?
"These two days taught me more about writing than two years in an MFA program."
I came away with a call to action, a spiritual connection with likeminded people, and a way into projects set aside and tons of new ideas. Also, a reminder of why I write and how I can refuel my writer self. These two days taught me more about writing than two years in an MFA program.
- Heather Bryant
"I reconnected with my inner writer in a way I hadn't in over a decade."
I didn't know what to expect and it was so worthwhile - I reconnected with my inner writer in a way I hadn't in over a decade
- Stephanie Dosch
"I wanted to love writing again...The event absolutely delivered"
I booked my ticket to Bingeworthy Live looking for a deep creative reset. I write all day, every day but every piece is another task in ClickUp. A website page for a client, a social media post or an email to my list, and all competing with 100 other things I need to do. I wanted to love writing again and tap into writing without a call to action. The event absolutely delivered. We talked about writing, we wrote and we shared. Instead of being intimidating, it felt celebratory and liberating. A deep creative reset indeed.
- Belinda Weaver
"Invigorating, inspiring, fun, funny."
I came to Bingeworthy needing a jumbo pick-me-up in my writing. It was all that and more. Invigorating, inspiring, fun, funny. I have a mind full of ideas and new possibilities and feel a renewed love of the words that emerge on the page.

"It was incredibly validating to hear from other people that I'm a good writer."
It was incredibly validating to hear from other people that I'm a good writer. Laura Belgray even said "wow! What a writer!" which...what!? It's so easy to be in such a vacuum with an online business. Especially when I'm trying to teach non-writers to write for their businesses, it can feel very isolating. I don't think I realized how much I needed to see other writers in person. To hear real writing come out of real human mouths, especially when we're in the middle of the Ai-slop-ocalypse.

HAVE WE MET?
Hi! I’m Laura Belgray, founder of Talking Shrimp, co-creator of The Copy Cure with Marie Forleo, and national bestselling author of Tough Titties: On Living Your Best Life When You're the F'ing Worst — a Goodreads Choice Awards Finalist, a Best of Audible selection, and a great f'ing read. I also identify as an unapologetic lazy person.
Back in the day, I wrote TV spots for clients like NBC, Fandango, and Bravo, and now help entrepreneurs and creatives cash in on their unique personalities, become binge-worthy, and get paid to be 100% themselves. Because getting paid to be you is the holy grail of work.
I’ve taught four sold-out writing workshops in Italy. Every year, attendees (and would-be attendees who couldn’t get there) begged me to teach one in New York. Seven years later…here we are! I’ll make sure it was worth the wait.
One thing you should know: this could become a tradition, but it might be a special one-off. If I decide to do it again, it’s likely the price will go up. That’s how we do.
"You'll walk away feeling inspired, alive, and ready to write."
Bingeworthy Live is like a party where wit and creativity pops off everywhere. You will break boundaries of who you think you are as a writer. You will have a hell of a good time. Best of all, you'll walk away feeling inspired, alive, and ready to write.
- Mary Schroeder
"It helped me lose the shame and fear around personal writing."
I've never considered myself a "real" writer, having just written for brands. This event not only helped me lose some of the shame and fear I have around writing personally, it even helped me share to the group! Beyond that, Laura is generous not only in her knowledge, but the way that she connects people and makes everyone feel welcome to unapologetically be themselves!
- Nicole Khamooshi
"Biggest takeaway: I can actually write!"
This is the gift that will open doors and continuously give me joy. Thank you!!
- Diane Mulligan
"This event shows you how to be a better writer. Do it!"
Laura and her guest teachers create a very welcoming space for writing, with their prompts and enthusiasm for the unique details that only a person could write. She attracts such funny and compassionate writers, I always look forward to meeting the other writers in her space. Plus the venue is stunning. This event shows you how to be a better writer. Do it!
- Marie-Elizabeth
"Life changing!"
Bingeworthy Live was a total chiropractic readjustment for my writing. I'm not exaggerating. Seeing the boring copy vs the version edited with details was life-changing.
- Julie Reisler
"It was hilarious and fun and inspiring and I’ll absolutely be back!"
What an experience! Bingeworthy Live was exactly what we need at this moment in time - to hone our unique voices in a way AI can’t compete with, to dig into our personal stories, but, most importantly, to connect in real life with other (brilliant!) people in meaningful ways. It was hilarious and fun and inspiring and I’ll absolutely be back!
- Kara Kull
"It was fun to actually just write with zero pressure."
This was incredible!!! In addition to feeling inspired and energized, it was fun to actually just write with zero pressure. Also, all the people were lovely (which is often dicey with in person events). Oh and the food and planning, etc. was the cherry on top!!
- Meme Inge
"Believe me, you can write better things..."
I didn’t know why I wanted to come, but I followed the thread — and oh lord, I’m so glad I did. I’m not a professional writer, a published author, or a journalist. I’m an angel card reader who wants to write better content, emails, and hopefully, books. If you’re tired of reading AI-generated copy everywhere, you should come next time. Believe me, you can write better things than that.
